Version 1.0
Cookie durations marked “as set by the provider” will be confirmed from a full cookie scan of the live consent platform. The tables below start from third-party scripts observed on the homepage on 31 August 2026.
1. What this covers
This policy explains the cookies and similar technologies we use on colinmbcooper.com, and on our course and checkout pages hosted by Kartra.
It sits alongside our Privacy Policy, which explains what we do with personal data more generally.
2. What cookies are
A cookie is a small text file a website stores on your device. It lets the site recognise your browser between pages and visits.
We also use technologies that aren’t strictly cookies but do a similar job: tracking pixels, local storage, and visitor identifiers passed in the web address. Where this policy says “cookies”, it means all of them.
3. Your choices
Strictly necessary cookies are set without asking. Without them the site doesn’t work, and the law doesn’t require consent for them.
Everything else is set only if you agree. When you first visit, our banner lets you accept all, reject all, or choose by category. Rejecting is as easy as accepting, and it’s one click.
You can change your mind at any time using the Cookie settings link in our footer. There’s no penalty for saying no, and the site works either way.
If you clear your browser’s cookies, your preference goes with them and you’ll be asked again.

5. A note on the Kartra visitor identifier
Our course and funnel pages run on Kartra, which assigns each visitor an identifier called a kuid. You may see it in the web address when you move between our pages. It lets Kartra connect your visits so we can see which routes through our material actually work.
It’s a tracking technology, so we treat it the same as an analytics cookie. It’s set only where you’ve consented, and it goes when you withdraw consent.
6. Third party cookies
Some cookies are set by other companies rather than by us. Where that happens, that company uses the data for its own purposes as well as ours, and its own privacy notice applies. Links:

- Cloudflare: cloudflare.com/privacypolicy

7. Device fingerprinting
Kartra, which runs our courses and checkout, uses a service called FingerprintJS. Rather than storing a cookie, it builds an identifier from your device and browser settings so it can recognise a returning visitor and spot fraudulent checkout attempts.
We treat this the same as a cookie, because the law does. It’s covered by the same consent, and withdrawing consent switches it off along with everything else in the analytics category.
8. Browser controls
Your browser can block or delete cookies. Every major browser explains how in its help pages.
Worth knowing: browser settings are a blunt tool. They apply to every site you visit, they can break things, and they aren’t a substitute for the choice we give you here. Use our Cookie settings link for control over this site specifically.
9. Do Not Track
There’s no agreed industry standard for how websites should respond to browser “Do Not Track” signals, so we don’t act on them. Use our cookie banner instead, which does exactly what it says.
10. Changes
We’ll update this policy when the technologies we use change. The date at the top tells you which version you’re reading.
Where we add a new category of cookie, we’ll ask for your consent again rather than assuming your last answer still covers it.
